Plot: Mr. Bean wins a holiday to France at a church fair. He heads to the South of France on a train. His trip from London to his destination soon becomes hectic and turns into mayhem. With his camera and map in hand he videos his trip and his video diary ends up screening at The Cannes Film festival. Mr. Bean creates havoc wherever he goes.

Comments: This is a great film for the family but it's great if you want a laugh. If you ever watched Mr.Bean on t.v, you know he doesn't speak. In this film, Atkinson just makes everything funny in what he does.

Plot:Based on the successful novel, written by Alice Sebold, this movie sticks closely to the plot of the novel, which shows the story of a young girl, Suzie Salmon who is raped and murdered by her neighbour. The movie manages to create the suspense and eeriness of the original novel, however in my opinion some of the fantasy scenes did not tie in with the overall mood of the novel. 


Comments: The acting in this movie is very good and there are not many movies which stick as close to the plot, but The Lovely Bones is not the case.

Plot: Based on the very successful novel by Audrey Niffenegger, the story of true love, which has no boundaries. It follows Henry, a time traveller defying the laws to have a relationship with his true love.

Comments: It was always going to be hard to live up to its standards when the movie was released. Schwentke made a good attempt however in my opinion it fell short of the overall brilliance of the novel. The plot was complicated and I found it hard to follow. However the strong plotline still managed to shine through and the box office number can’t lie, it was a huge success in the cinema.

Plot: R (Nicholas Hoult) is a young zombie who feeds on humans. Their brain is the best part because they can retrieve the humans memories and feel a little human. R meets Julie (Teresa Palmer) on a feeding encounter. R instantly  has a feeling to protect her. The beginning of a strange relationship begins and they fight together to find a better world.

Comment: 'Warm Bodies' is originally a novel written by Isaac Marion. Don't be turned off by it being a zombie movie. The director does a great job to capture the teenage awkwardness. This movie is funny with a little bit of gore but has a romantic side to it which makes it a great movie.  You don't see a romantic comedy involving zombie's these days so I would defiantly recommend it.

Plot:Bella is not a normal teacher. She is not involved in the same things as other teacher. When she  falls in love with a new student( Edward) at her school, things start to change. Only when she examines him & his family more closely does she realise that they are different to everybody else. They are VAMPIRES! Only problem is he hasn’t aged since the 1900’s so that makes him older that 100- oh and he is immortal of course. But nothing will stop Bella from pursing Edward.

Comments: A teenage drama based on vampires. A refreshingly new aspect to the movie world. In my opinion, after reading the bestselling novel to which this movie is based I didn’t feel as if the actors  portrayed the true personality of the characters in the novel. However other aspects such as the setting and plot stayed true to form. Overall this was a very successful teenager based movie which raised large sales in the box office.

Plot:
Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, once again acts in the fourth movie of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’. ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Strangers Tides’ is a comedy and an adventure all in one with the movie now in 3D which makes it all the better. Captain Jack Sparrow meets Angelica (Penélope Cruz), not sure at first if it’s love or if she is just using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. She forces him aboard the ‘Queen Anne’s Revenge’ the ship’s pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane). Jack Sparrow goes on an unexpected adventure and finds people whom he shares a past.

Plot: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone is the first film in the Harry Potter series and is based on the novel by J.K. Rowling. Harry is taken away by Hagrid, the grounds keeper for Hogwarts. Harry, famous for an incident that happened at his birth,makes friends easily, but he soon discovers that the wizard world is far more dangerous for him than he would have imagined.
