Plot:Set in Baltimore during the 1950/1960’s Tracy Turnblad dreams to be a dancer on the Corny Collins show. When Tracy lands a spot on the Corny Collins show she cannot believe her luck! But other dancers on the show such as Amber are not willing to let Tracy succeed!
Comments:Hairspray is a refreshing realistic & witty musical! The characters are vibrant and full of personality. Nikki Blonsky did a fantastic job at taking on the role of Tracey. John Travolta was also a very convincing woman! The songs were catchy & the dance moves which accompanied the songs made the audience want to get up and dance along! If you are looking for a feel good movie then this is the movie for you!
